I urge anyone who has a loved one living with to download this app. I live with this incurable condition and I have seen the lack of understanding first hand. The pain and fatigue can often be difficult so having loved ones understand can make all the difference

Today is the start of awareness week. I’m lucky to work with supportive staff who will cover my class or make sure the kettle is boiled for the various sizes of hot water bottles I wear under my clothes during a flare up. My ⭐️ supporting research proudly on 🎄

Sunday 29th and I've been on 40mg for a week now. I've started having liquid meals when I'm hungry to avoid the cramps, any solids are getting hard to eat. Now I'm on 35mg for the week, no Moon Face so far Here is day 1 vs day 7:

Every day my director gets coffee and asks if I want some. I don’t normally drink coffee bc it’s a game of Russian roulette with my Crohns. You know I must be exhausted when I took him up on his coffee offer today.

Turns out the bag of Pred which the pharmacy gave me only lasted a week and a half 🤦‍♀️ One emergency phone appointment later I have the rest on the way. On the positive hand I ate solid food 🏆 December 1st progress:
