Students learned how external parts of plants help them survive. We got to invent new umbrellas to help them stay up during windy days based on features of a tree! Students were successful! They didn’t fall over from Miss Sharps wind!

Learned Polar Bears have a thick layer of blubber that helps keep them warm in the Arctic! We imitated a Polar Bears blubber by sticking hand in a crisco-filled glove and putting it in ice water. We learned extra “fat” kept our hands warmer. 🥶
