I love that our community is a safe place to ask questions & learn from others! S: “Why do those words look different?” 2 turn & talks & a class discussion we discovered that the words were in italics because the author was thinking those words. Ts lead but Ss discover!

I have to show this off. This young lady did an amazing job today explaining what she was learning to .She made such an impact that he called home for a positive phone call from the superintendent! Needless to say she talked about this all day!

100% engagement on their 2nd day of Geometry, now that’s a win! Started out as a silly game describing a pic for teammate to draw that was posted on Smartboard, ended with all Ss describing geometry vocab while partners sketched using S descriptions.
