Your experience is valid. Other experiences are valid. Both. Maybe the best indicator that you're in a pro-social mental space is: how curious are you about other experiences? On the flip side, how defensive do they make you feel?

As a disability support worker, I’ve learnt that some people in the community can’t make informed consent for health decisions. With no how would the clinic know the background of vulnerable women living with complex trauma.
