A man in his 30s has been taken to University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries after an assault at Marina Walk, in south docks area near Centre Park Rd, around 6.30pm. Gardai say no arrests have been made yet and investigations are ongoing.

UPDATE: Garda dog unit legend, Laser, and his handler tracked down the suspect in tonight’s manhunt on the southside of . The suspect, 28, is detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act at Togher Garda Station. Search ongoing for 2 other suspects.
