Guys I need some advice!! I came out to my Mum yesterday and she didnโ€™t take it to well, how long was it before your parents accepted you and whatโ€™s the best way to deal with unaccepting parents? Should I contact her or wait for her to speak to me

I'm crying so hard right now. My mom finally called me he after I came out yesterday when i told her I was genderfluid. I casualy told her that I feel male now and she just started calling me male pronouns and I'm like so proud istg.

Bringing this reaction back so my fellow LGBTQ+ Folx can see how true Christians act when you come out. This is my uncle, a Methodist preacher. He is the best ally I know. Christianity is founded in love and acceptance, not this movement.

I'm so relieved โ˜บ๏ธ I finally spoke to my folks after ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ to them in a letter and it went SO much better than I'd expected. They said they (still) love me and that they want to be a part of my life. ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’™

I noticed he had begun to do as I did. But then what other models did he have? He was the kind who wore checked shirts tucked into trousers that had two demure pleats in the front.

I came out as pan. Destroyed my parents hearts, they're disappointed in me. My mom compared that feeling to when her father died. I think I've just ended my happy life and my parents dreams about me being "normal"...

I have made an 18 years old realise he was gay. Gone into shock and hates me now. I feel terrible!

In my Debut, I have a scene that mirrors a real life conversation I had with my first gay best friend (he was my best friend before he came out). It is really important to me that has a book that includes them in the cannon, not a decade later, post facto.

So, after a couple of months thinkin' on it. I come to realize I'm not exactly trans like I thought. I 've come to terms that I'm an androgyne.

Answering โ€œWho caresโ€ on posts of people coming out only outlines your bigotry, and if you actually didnโ€™t care then you wouldnโ€™t answer in the first place and let those people live their life and celebrate in peace | donโ€™t @ me

Arrived home at the same time as my neighbor.... as good a time as any to come out... now I wonโ€™t need to sneak about at home.

We're changing it up today with a BEAUTIFUL listener essay called "The Girl Who Came Out!" When Breeann Campbell sent us a story chock full of influences, we knew we *had* to read and discuss it! โšก Plus, no guest means we can talk AS MUCH AS WE WANT!!! ๐Ÿคฃ
