I love playing with CSS, but why is it so hard to figure out what to tell google when you are trying to learn something new? "Help with swipey thingy" is not getting me any wins.

A2: There are so many MOOCs out there (edX, coursera, freecodecamp)and many Free Libraries have access to LinkedIn Learning (Lynda) and Codecademy, you just have a library card. Ask around or search for free PDF's of tech books.

Studying for a non-language specific technical interview that will not involve coding... so more like general technical questions. Anyone have good resources for going over some conceptual fundamentals (still a here)?

R2D18 of Filled out an assessment for a front-end position (is it a take-home test if they email it to you before any interviews?) asking general questions about JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, etc. Started App Academy's React track, which should be fun.

Day 6: Learned about the Feynman Technique to better study & kept learning CSS through Colt Steele’s Udemy Web Development Bootcamp. I read interesting article about studying to reach intermediate Web Developer status & not aim to be a Jr Developer.
