Learned the hard way that AWS CodeCommit is NOT compatible w/ Git credential manager for windows. Had to uninstall git and reinstall w/o the credential manager. Only cost me a few hours...

It is a million times easier to push an repo to and then have AWS pull it from there than it is to have AWS CodePipeline pull from either or CodeCommit. CodePipelines refuses to work with anything x-region.
