3 climbs into bed with me most nights. I don't even notice it anymore, I just wake up and he's there. Sometimes I mind the snoring and feet to the ribs. But sometimes, like today, I hear him laugh in his sleep and I melt.

See link for a downloadable brochure to use/ distribute from for safe infant sleep conditions for shared sleep and solitary sleep. Either parent’s bed or crib can be made safe or dangerous depending on conditions.

Expectations need to be adjusted in our culture. We practiced safe and we all got the rest we needed. Parents mistakenly think babies are safer in these devices. Such a taboo against bedsharing, parents will do anything to get babies to sleep separately.
