There are some beautiful Inuksuits around Churchill. An Inuksuk is a man made stone landmark. Historically it may have been used for navigation, particularly in regions dominated by tundra biome that may have had few natural landmarks.

The centre was designed and built to an LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) standard. Single pump, dual flush toilets, waterless urinals, push showers, low flow shower heads and compost toilets all help to save water at the centre.

It was kind of difficult to leave the CNSC last night as it felt like it was too soon to leave. I’m really going to miss this view. 🇨🇦❤️

This is an actual can of larger that is sold in Churchill. I can’t vouch for the taste of it (haven’t tried it) but I love the packing and the name. 😂🇨🇦💙

The word tundra comes from the Finnish word ‘tunturia’ and means ‘treeless plain’. The boreal forest and tundra meet in Churchill. We saw lots of birds such as bald eagles, Canada geese, tundra swans and snow geese during the tundra buggy tour yesterday. 🌲🇨🇦

Solo game #2 goes to bot (Stalin bot won game #1), my US trails by 6p. Gotta watch those Global Issues next time! US progress in Pacific seems well hard but seemingly indispensable. It didn’t help that I failed two drm’ed A-Bomb rolls as well.
