Certainly not my finest game, but shows what an emotional rollercoaster can be. Don’t relax when winning, you can easily blunder and don’t despair when you do, you may still be able to create chances. Managed to save the day with two sacrifices, but I so nearly resigned!

Washington Square Park is know for its chess games. Here, race, class and gender don't matter. The only thing that matters is to checkmate your opponent's King! ♟ Many of the best players in the world have played on these boards... 😍 like ! 😉

Got myself a new set for the road, it’s smaller than my other one but more importantly folds in two. They obviously made the board in a hurry, when it arrived there was still some sawdust inside and it smelled of varnish! A few days on the balcony solved the latter 🙂

A21 The ability/skill to recognize which positions are critical is called criticality assessment. This essential skill recognizes not only the complexity of the position but also the strategic importance of the move to be played. Critical moves usually demand more time.

Still waiting for a first person who started playing as an adult to become a Grandmaster I mean, it's nice to have dreams and goals and all that, but it is also nice to be a bit realistic
