Tonight, Canada rejected a Scheer idiot from taking over at 24 Sussex. I'm proud of our neighbors in the north.

Go vote. That co-worker who only reads The Sun just voted. A bunch of climate-change deniers just voted. The scum who spaypainted swastikas on a temple just voted. Everyone's racist uncle just voted. Go vote for a candidate that none of these people will like.

On the post-election "Canada is divided" theme: Election results are not that different from before + neither is federalism. So let's change the subject, avoid self-fulfilling prophesies + start promoting a politics of creative encounter/positive engagement

All jk aside, played a major role in this election! He was the raspy voice of the reasonable! Articulated what we all saw but couldn’t put into words online! He punched bots/right wing trolls paid for by dirty American money in the mouth

Canada: CBC projects now that the Liberals under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will not reach a majority, but will become the largest party. A liberal minority government with the centre-left NDP is not unlikely.

⁦.⁩ and ⁦⁩ don’t want want you to hear this, as it doesn’t fit their “doom & gloom” narrative, but in reality Canada is better economically positioned that most nations. Read before you vote.

Reading the seemingly endless articles about why the lost, why the and did what they did etc, I can't help concluding that for many in the political and media class it's all rather a game. That's not very encouraging.

The Libs and the Cons could work together and make TMX happen - if they put energy first and partisanship second. I *truly* hope this happens.

Regardless of party or policies, thanks to all who put their names on ballots. Our system isn’t perfect, but it doesn’t work at all without people willing to run for office. Thanks

If Justin Trudeau can be re-elected after all his corruption and scandals, then Andrew Scheer may be one of the worst candidates to ever run for PM. Please resign . You gave that imbecile a second term on a silver platter.

SPOILER ALERT: The main purpose of politicians who openly talk about is fundraising through the fomentation of anger. They know it will never happen. Act accordingly.

these white political pundits on tv are talking about Jagmeet Singh in the same manner and condescending tone that professors and graduate students use when they constantly tell me that 'i speak really well.' and yeah, they always are.

Canadians held their election yesterday, using ONLY paper ballots. There was no interference or hacking from foreign governments as a result. America, you could learn from Canada’s example. 🇨🇦❤️
