The Dodgers wasn't even smooth w/ his mitt movement (caught pitch then moved it) whereas Flowers was smooth (move mitt into zone as he rec'd it). Flowers even gives ump a clearer view of the zone. You can still do it right and not get the call.

Great example of having to chase ball leading to mitt traveling out of the zone (instead of moving ball toward zone) This turns a strike into a ball. Stromen missing his spot significantly contributes to this.
