I’ve never roasted a turkey before so I need your advice! I roast my chicken covered in foil, sitting on sliced onion with water in the pan, so I can make gravy from all of the flavoursome drippings. Would this work with turkey or must I slather it with butter?

Using examples like this to justify eating carbs is like pointing to examples of people that live a long time and drink alcohol or smoke tobacco regularly...or eat a standard American diet and don't get fat. Exceptions to the rule don't justify a problem.
