This Sunday I finally booked my Flight to France. It felt like such a relief to have committed to such a decision. September 1st I fly out of New York, September 3rd I start walking from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.

Camino Day 5: Astorga > Rabanal del Camino , 20.5km, 300m gradual ascent Our first rain and longest day so far. We both had our shoes soaked but otherwise did well with our ponchos and wool socks. Celebratory dinner at El Refugio 😋
