BTEC and A Level are the same level of qualification just a different method of achieving it. Difficulty is relative. We should aspire for everyone to be able to achieve and having both available to students is how we achieve that. They’re both valid.

Just about to get home after another long show day at work. However, this week has made me immensely proud of my students and equally as proud to be their lecturer. It’s nice to feel the reward every now and then :)

Got the Ofsted call. I went around to all the classes and told the students that if I see an inspector walking around, I will bring them to a BTEC class, because I am just so proud of all the work they do. They are so hard working, and often ignored.
