On behalf of France, I'd like to thank Michael Gove for gifting us Kent. 🇨🇵 Just a little more of these shambles, and England will be French again.

If you were born in the UK in 1950, you've led a charmed life. You missed WW2 and avoided the Korean and Vietnam Wars. You benefitted from 47 years of peace and prosperity as a member of the EU. But half of you voted for a that will destroy your grandchildren's future!

Keep an eye on Switzerland today.. Holding a referendum to end free movement - a key part of its relationship with the EU. Many see lessons for UK’s post relationship with Brussels here. If the Swiss vote Yes today.. /1

The Engine Plant at closed today. Permanently. Barely anything on the news, because as the disaster of unfolds, this is how it will be. Do you notice that fewer and fewer people are talking about the “Benefits of Brexit” ... ?

So the UK is creating customs borders between Surrey and Kent, down the Irish Sea and between Gibraltar and the UK, only because a second-rate columnist made up false stories about prawn cocktail crisps and an angry man said he did not want to live next to Romanians.

Boris Johnson will be gone by January, he should not be allowed to skulk away from . He has caused misery for millions, he and Cameron should be made to account for ruining a great nation.

Ford plant in Bridgend will shut down for the last time later this year, bringing to a close four decades of production at the site. This is wholly as a result of the loss of access to the Single Market caused by . But knew this was what they were voting for.

So ... Britain's border with the EU now looks like this. Has anyone noticed the "oven ready, patriotic 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧" deal everyone voted for is now ceding actual physical British territory to the EU? / have no idea what they're doing.

Good discuss on with ⁦⁩ today. “Calm, Firm & Realistic” remains the approach. A deal is still possible but progress needed on LPF & Fisheries soon. UK Legislation has damaged trust & undermined relations but EU focus remains on concluding a deal.

I’d just reply but again Steve won’t allow replies... This doesn’t bust any myths, a joint police effort along one part of the border as part of a coordinated public health response is not comparable to the hardening that a bad could allow for.
