Sigh. Having a black wallet is peak. Vue showed the dark knight following an actual massacre, but is banned? Don’t want us on the roads, don’t want us earning honest money. 🙄 If you cared about kids; ice cream wouldn’t be like £4!

This is completely unacceptable . The trouble started in the line to Frozen 2, the people arrested were also underage for Blue Story (not that they were seeing it). Way to pull the completely unrelated film.

VUE is embarrassed that their security allowed boys with machetes into a CHILDRENS movie screening, so now they’re using Blue’s Story as a scapegoat.

I swear someone shot at the cinema screen in Peckham when The Phantom Menace came out in 1999 but I don’t remember anyone banning Star Wars from cinemas. Nonsense.

Oh yeah we should definitely . This ban of the is laced in discrimination. This is what we mean when we say Black individuals have to fight 10x harder.

I’m fully with this a fight happened during a screening of Frozen 2 involving a group of 13 year old kids, in response Vue Cinemas has banned Blue Story film that is a 15+.. for me the word “racism” plays a big part in this.

Yeah I’m boycotting they don’t deserve to get a penny of my money ever again. They ban a film nationally, for one incident that cannot be categorically linked to the film at all. Despite every other Vue cinemas across the country having no issue.

So let me get this straight Vue you cancelled a film with an all black cast, because a couple of Asian youths started a brawl in a frozen viewing all I can say is y'all not seeing my money in my lifetime

This is a scandal. The brawl was started by kids not even old enough to see the movie. Racism pure and simple

Coming up on - there’s no evidence that the young people brawling at on Saturday had been to see - so why the decision to ban it? My report with , &

Hang on a minute, so Vue still haven't issued a statement or had an official spokesperson address the Blue Story situation and is currently trending in the UK? There are some very basic PR and crisis steps that should have been set in motion by now. What's happening?

I see there's a lot of fury against Vue Cinemas using and it's mainly the black community. Well sod that, I'm a 61 year old white male and I'm with them. I would love to see Blue Story starring Michael Ward. He was brilliant as Jamie in Top Boy

fuck . this shit is madness. If I try rob a bank after watching the Italian Job, they won’t be cancelling that shit will they. needs to be aired for all to see. Movies are made to spark conversation, and watch it elsewhere. It’s needs to be seen.

I agree with this - A gang fight happened during a screening of Frozen 2 involving 13 year olds - So ban a film for 15 year olds that wasn't being shown during the violent incident. Institutional racism.
