One of my worst readathons First very busy at work, then sick in the weekend. Not even going to count my pages. Here's to the next readathon!

IT'S ALMOST HERE. Next week, we'll put out the call for challenge ideas, so get thinking and plotting.

A6: it'd be fun to do a "pairs well with" challenge. Like this romance book pairs well with Riesling. Or this thriller pairs well with bloody mary's. It could be any drink, not just alcohol 🍻

"...you can tell a lot about a person's character from his choice of sofa. Sofas constitute a realm inviolate unto themselves. This, however, is something that only those who have grown up sitting on good sofas will appreciate." - Haruki Murakami

I missed yesterday's update sorry! I knew I had to do it but just fell asleep last night. Day 6 Romanov- 2 pages. I know it seems short but I'm reading two chapters a day to extend the book out. Sky Without Stars- 6% The Princess and the Fangirl- 7%

A7. Don't compare your to anyone else's, including your past self or the self you expected/wanted to be this week. (Probably good life advice in general.) You got to think about books and/or read them & that is always a good thing.

Good day of readathoning yesterday. Finished Milkman. Read a good chunk of A Spark of Light and started Admissions. Think I will probably finish Spark of Light today

A6: I rarely get around to doing the writing challenges so more photo challenges would be great!

A7. Because “everyone else” is doing it (Works for drugs, sex & alcohol...why not a readathon) If that doesn’t work, then because I’m doing it. Or because I said so. Or because you don’t do much, so read while you’re doing nothing 🤷🏾‍♀️.

I'm tweeting from my home recording studio, just having finished recording The Colour Fairies Series Book 13 The Day of the Mermaids by Maggie Jeffrey. I have participated in exactly one .

A5 I’d like to see more books with established relationships either friend or romantic instead of the characters meeting for the first time and instantly being in love!

My wrap up is late but I didn’t really do much this round. I wasn’t able to make it to any of the chats or do any challenges, but I did manage to finish the book I’d already started before!

Wasn't able to drag my carcass out of bed and missed the chat. 🙁 But hoping to get a nice amount of reading done now that personal web-pocolypse has been averted. Friday was a 2-beers-and-a-brownie kind of day...
