Just watched - not bad. Great as far as tennis movies go. If you’re a tennis fan it’s just a summary of a bunch of stuff you live already seen 100 times. @LShirock - you shoulda been in it. See it yet?

"A masterful depiction of how great tennis can be." My review of the biopic covering their classic 1980 Wimbledon final, with Shia LaBeouf portraying John McEnroe.

I'm not a fan of Shia LaBeouf but having him play John McEnroe is pretty perfect casting. Sverrir Gudnason as Borg is just phenomenal. This was a grand slam of a movie. I highly recommend it.

Wow. Stunning film. As child of the 7/80’s and tennis fan, it’s a profoundly emotional experience. Time changes the way we see champions but as a 7yo, Björn Borg was invincible.

= 2/4 Compared to Battle of the Sexes this movie is much more about tennis. It's definitely an indie movie for tennis fans. But it cares especially about Borg's story: the title should be Borg's starting of the end. Shia LaBeouf is the top transformist after Depp.
