Willie Christine King, (September 11, 1927) older sister of Martin Luther King Jr. was a professor at 'Spelman College for 48 years. She retired in 2014 at the age of 86, and yes she's still living.

Start with this fact: Black History Month began as "Negro History Week," in 1926 with Carter G. Woodson. He lobbied schools & other organizations to participate and promote African American History. In 1976 it was first recognized as Black History Month.
