Everyone’s getting their winter floof on, freezing house finch hiding out of the -23c windchill today. Actual temp around -13c. He looks very pink so puffed up, more red when not so,puffy.

I had some super rays of sunshine arrive in my yard today, in brilliant breedin* yellows,8 A pretty rare treat at my house. have stopped by for a day or two, generally only for my sunflowers in fall. I’m still tickled hours later 🌞
