In last 7 months i have 22 Peregrine Falcon sightings in the Falkland Islands. Tonight at Cape Pembroke was the first time i have seen two together. They were very vocal, i assume after another successful hunt out to sea

A courageous Magpie trying to chase off a marauding Wedgetail Eagle from his territory... I was amazed at how small a adult Magpie was compared to the Eagle 😳😳.. .

We found a baby hawk today. It was given to a wildlife rehabilitation expert. They sure are cute, but are not pet material. Glad we could continue to be good stewards of the land.

Crested Hawk-eagle perching in the morning light. I love the focused look and the light wind did wonders to showcase the crest! Thie species is quite a common sight in Yala National Park. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Look at those beautiful trousers! (Handy mnemonic as juvenile sea eagles can be very brown: sea eagles wear shorts, wedgies wear trousers).
