The good news to come out of Basildon’s recent budget meeting is that, one way or another, will get significant investment in its swimming pool. Either a brand new £9m pool (from the administration’s budget) or a £3m upgrade (from the opposition’s alternative budget)

If I’m disabled/can’t manage stairs and I’ve got a hospital appointment to get to in London, there is no way for me to access the platform to the train and won’t be until 14th Feb when the lift is fixed. What happens in this scenario?
