. Concerned Billericay football club is up for sale; I believe there might be an appetite for crowdfunding to buy the club for the fans and community. Is there enough support by the community to buy this local asset?

D’oh! Visiting my dad (& revisiting my childhood) in today but left it 20 mins too late to pop in to the store in the high street. Looking good, great to see promotion of the Edit & I promise to pop in on my next visit!

Great event and act of remembrance. The Citizen of the Year Kay Baker then lit the Beacon and residents joined in by lighting their torches at the same time. Jim Shrubb the Town Crier then read the proclamation ‘A Cry for Peace’. Thanks to the Town Council.
