Looks good and reminds me of similar junctions from my childhood in Denmark 30+ years ago! Keep fighting the good fight and we'll eventually drag transport policy in this country into the 21st century.

That feeling you get when you realise you’ve left your work shoes at home and will be sporting the “dress & trainers” look all day whilst in the company of the official shoe queen @DepCSOfiona 🙄

My first since moving to Ottawa!! 1000x more fun & scenic than the bus, and 40x less hot & sweaty than the walk. Really regret not trying this sooner!! Now, what to do with all this extra bus fare... (coffee, the answer is buy coffee...)

Wharncliffe is an interesting place to ride a bike/sacrifice your life to the car gods.

Decent ride today. Better than yesterday, anyway. It’s still cold, but I guess I’m adapting. Tired tho. Glad today is a rest day, physically.

via Fresh Pond and Charles River. Great way to start the day. Winter biking isn’t extreme: it can be cold, which turns out to-be not cold when you’re pedaling. You can do it!

First back to the office today. It definitely helped, being cheered on by a little gang of pre-schoolers walking 'crocodile' past me...

This idea came up in a bike advocacy meeting. What would Amazon's bikeshed look like from the Crystal City Metro? Overlayed current bike networks in DC, Arlington, Alexandria, and Fairfax

I have literally SEVEN LAYERS OF CLOTHING ON (thank God for the fleece/long john/dri-fit combo) but I had a great ride home and I was warm. Also, I wish I had bought snow goggles sooner. Makes a huge difference. (The hat over the helmet helps too.)

Snapshot from my morning - a nice priority signal but I’m thinking it would also be good to have a no-right-turn light for vehicles, thoughts?

What a difference fresh paint & new lines can make!! I’ve held my breath & crossed my fingers at this treacherous intersection too many times maneuvering between turning cars & stopped buses Thank you for a safer ! 🚴‍♀️👏
