Hey, : sent me a media test unit of their folding, electric bike. I'll have their GX model for a week and will write up a review for the free-to-read on Sun, April 12. What do you want to know? Ideas for tests?

Bike to Work Day 2020 in DC has officially been canceled. Appreciate all the hard work in planning/coordinating this year. With current guidance, identifying a suitable alternate date was not possible. Next year will be the 20th Anniversary in DC region though!

Users of Florida Avenue NE’s protected bike lane will know this specific example from the intersection with 8th Street NE, where red bike signal shows while the pedestrian signal shows WALK.

Frankly, the racers (and *all* of us who ride faster than a casual pace) should AVOID the “known good” recreational spots like Beach Drive on the weekend, the MUPs, et al. We should know better. While we are creatures of habit, now’s the time to explore!

Hey folks in who are getting out and riding: you need to maintain even more distance than the 2 meters recommended for pedestrians. It’s like trailing distance when driving a car: faster speed = longer trailing distance.
