Just saw "Beale Street" and thank and for bringing such a beautiful film to life. Direction and cinematography reminiscent of french new wave cinema. Story unlike anything in past +50 years. Wow.

Just bought & watched it again. (Along w/ the fantastic extras!) I swear, If doesn’t win , then don’t have any idea who should. She & Bradley pulled from the depths of their souls to create this movie. It will forever be my fav.

Sometimes the Academy gets it right. Just rewatched In the Heat of the Night, our movie-fiend son’s first time. Still a great movie with amazing performances.

The round of 32 is live and the matchups are getting good. Rocky vs Forrest Gump. Unforgiven vs Million Dollar Baby. I’m interested to see what moves on. So make sure you get those votes in. ⁦
