Honduras: last Wednesday we were told the murder trial was suspended until 9am today. Turns out the case continued yesterday with a largely empty public gallery. We missed key phone evidence related to defendant Sergio Rodriguez, dam company communities manager. Why?

Why were victims’ lawyers removed from case? Why won’t the trial be publicly transmitted? Why has Public Prosecutor denied the victims info 35x? We demand the truth. @USAAmbHonduras

Just left court after 9 hours during which 4.5 hours evidence heard in the murder trial, the rest taken up by other cases, a long lunch & unexplained delays. We've been reconvened for 13 November, until which the court can begin various other trials.
