Soooooo much easier than the manual extractor I’ve been used to. Quiet enough to extract while the kids sleep upstairs! Highly recommended!

I was told that you should extract the Brood frames (and obviously feed after) so that the queen has enough space to lay for her winter Bees. So that’s what I’ll do!

Well I rescued bees under our trailer at the scrap yard. I cut the comb under the trailer and strapped it into frames to put in nuc box. It was a roller coaster as they swarmed but then they came back !

Sean Lock beekeeper found this Asian Hornet on someone's leg on a ferry from Poole to Cherbourg! looks like it was trying to cross channel from France and came down on ferry to rest - he was out of sight of land
