Among the fragments of polystyrene on the strandline a shiny grey nickar nut; a beautiful and tactile drift seed that has travelled thousands of miles to Cornish shores from Central Florida/Caribbean via the Gulf Stream/North Atlantic Drift

Every now & again the beach will completely surprise you. A large brass dial from a set of Salter scales. It goes up to 56lbs so it was probably from a shop. The question is,what to make with it? I’m resisting the clock idea so far.

I found BLUE stones at the beach today (with some blue seaglass for blueness comparison) - I'm an amateur rock collector so if any or people know what they are plz let me know! 😊

Two trees on a hill. Some of the old sea worn bricks you find look so much like tree tops. The driftwood had been part of a beach fire and when cleaned up became this beautiful shape. Another tall one.

We love this pic of stones from our Island of the Week ! And we also love the hashtag . Maybe if this career doesn't work out we'll retrain as geologists! (Even just for the punny hashtags)

It’s been a while since i posted a creation,it kind of slipped my mind. Still and still trying to assemble things that make people smile. Today i used an old plastic handle, rubber from a rifle end and wire.

Yup, even an old rubber cars tire from yesteryear can be found amongst the micro-plastics, beach glass, metal bits, old ceramic pieces etc along our precious waterways. Yesterdays garbage is todays garbage, right?
