Guest on is suggesting that schools need to DO MORE to teach students how to use social media. Why should schools solve all of society’s problems?! When did we absolve parents of their parental responsibilities?! I thought I had to teach my subject!

Online Safety is about ‘choice’ & knowing what the consequences are from ‘inappropriate choice’ and poor judgement. Proactive Schools who get involved and receive the most up to date, accurate and relevant advice & awareness are ahead of the game.

Social media means people can be 'alone together' (and yes I am aware of the irony of communicating this message via twitter). It removes the barriers to poor behaviour allowing for our worst traits to emerge in way not possible before.

Oh my god! Why do people think is personal and subjective. What you're describing as "your own truth" is your opinions, NOT truth, which is objective.
