The intellectual Titan that is Brandon Lewis MP tells us that although the Business Secretary may have been taken ill with coronavirus, it may just be ‘heavy hayfever’. Surely he means ‘world-beating hayfever’.

67k Covid test samples were sent to the US, but 30k were returned as void. Doesn’t sound like a world beating test and track programme but I guess Hancock will be happy that’s at least another 30k or 60k tests to add to his totals.

Just heard someone on suggesting use of military was appropriate an proportionate and normal: just like after death of Rodney King and in 1960s he said. Not challenged on this. What? I mean literally what the fuck?! BBC have to stop platforming racists

Every news report about the virus and easing lockdown in the EU speaks of regional variations, Paris moving slower than the rest of France for example. Why oh why do we not see this issue pursued with a vengeance. Why is England so centralised even now.

mocks up Jacob Rees Mogg’s plan for MPs to vote, stores yesterday 😉😂 ... a queue nearly a mile long which will take 30 mins for every vote. Surely this is impractical?

For your MP to vote in Parliament they need to not be shielding or living with someone shielding. They need to be strong enough to queue for an hour, sometimes standing in the rain. If this was happening elsewhere would it still be funny?

I noticed that the interviewer talked over the disabled woman, at the end of the item about supermarkets. Don't do this. It's rude. The listeners want to hear the guests. If the item over-runs, then rejig something else. All minorities have a voice and must be heard.

The main reason so many top Tories are being infected with is that they break the rules as a matter or course and, unlike our submissive electorate, the virus doesn't respect bravado or arrogance.
