Headys farm 4m
The barley is flat, but actually combining pretty well in this hot weather, and will hopefully make the grade for malting (🍺). Another two fields done today, and just the Spring planted oilseed rape left to cut 😁.

Here’s a great use of imagery. A field that’s pretty stagey, but with rain in the forecast we needed to get combining. Used NDVI to find ripest field then imagery in field to find the riper spots to combine. See how the grain moisture map matches imagery from 3 weeks ago

Great day combining spring yesterday ☀️ yields looking 👌 and thankfully quality ok despite the wet/dry cycle and some of the crop lodging. We’re carting in with tractors and trailers, the neighbors are using artics 😉
