To the unsuccessful candidates from the weekend, Liberal or otherwise, thank you for giving Australians a choice. Ours is a great democracy & we should acknowledge the efforts of those who seek to serve, even where we disagree with them.

There are 4,700 unemployed Tasmanians aged between 15-24. An unemployment rate of 10.3%. in this age cohort. What is Morrison and the Liberal Senate Team doing for regional jobs?

Attention workers of Aust who voted for the LNP and those who didn’t bother to vote. On July 1st, your penalty rates will be cut again so good luck with that.

: Hearing there’s been a counting error in Cowan and the margin is much closer than AEC initially reported. Liberal camp confident early and postals breaking their way, and they might be able to claw back Anne Aly’s lead.

The AEC has decided to correct some misreporting by pointing out that turnout is up in 2019. The slightly higher Senate figure will be the better measure of turnout when the Senate count is finalised.

Lot of people calling ABC radio not happy about Olympics being dropped. Wonder who they voted for in ? Was quite obvious LNP would do everything possible to undermine ABC for its media mogul masters - in this case 7 & Stokes who has Olympic rights

The chase for regional votes via big subsidies to big mines that employ small numbers of people might win the Coalition some votes in Nth Qld but it is costing them a lot of Liberal Voters in once safe ‘Blue Ribbon’ seats. My column

After all the exit polls done. Let me say hope you guys remember what happened to the Aussie election results... The conservatives overturned 56 or so exit polls which said otherwise to win the elections!! Just saying!!
