Welcome to Santorini! What a way to start, with a tasting of Assyrtiko from 15 wineries. Hard to find a bad wine! A reminder (as if I needed one) why Assyrtiko is one of my absolute favourite varieties.

Superb tonight from . Wild ferment. Neatly blends zesty liveliness & a satisfying, complex richness. Great match with salmon, potatoes & fresh spinach. Must make an effort to drink more Greek wine. This is absolutely tremendous.

I made Pad Thai for my tea - something I could happily eat EVERY day. Washed down with a large glass of more grapefruit today, pithy and tangy, even against the sour elements of the dish! 👌
