2 July 1598: Samuel Pullen [Pullein, Pullayne] future Church of Archbishop of Tuam baptised at Ripley He was brother-in-law to John Bramhall Archbishop of who consecrated him in 1661. Buried in 1667 beside the archbishop’s throne at Tuam.
