Up until a few years ago I hadn't come across very often; certain flowers are undoubtedly much more popular in certain parts of the UK. Fast track to a few years later and it is now one of the species that I see and photograph most often!

Aquilegia chrysantha 'Lemon Queen' still flowering her socks off and lots more buds yet to open. Unlike many aquilegias, the flowers on this one face upwards, giving us a good view of the stamens. Just gorgeous!
