I started taking escitalopram; no idea why I waited so long - feeling lighter, motivated and like there's now more space in my head for my thoughts to linger before I speak, act and react

What does feel like to me? Like a red hot ball or molten metal sitting in my stomach. Shaking and sweating. Not being able to move from bed. Not being able to make your brain stop going through "IF" statements. Being tired immediately.

1.Improvement....I actually visited a supermarket for the 1st time in nearly 4 months! (I needed coffee!) my anxiety had prevented me before! Unfortunately I was so engrossed with my music on my AirPods I got locked in! It had closed 10 mins previously!

Butterflies inhabit stomach, a mix of excitement, and pure anxiety. I challenged myself to go out solo tomorrow, watch 12 hours of live bands at a local charity gig my friend organises. 300-500 people. Haven't seen a human for weeks.

🦋 My anxiety was silent. You wouldn't even notice a change on the outside but I was so stressed I couldn't even manage simple tasks. People called me lazy when, in reality, I was just overwhelmed.

Some days I feel ok. Like today. Today I feel ok. It gives me hope. That other days I will feel ok. It’s like a wave, it comes and goes. I can not control it. But I can control how I will react most days. Today I am reacting with gratitude.
