A few months ago, I never thought this was possible. I'm currently sitting at 26k for my fantasy novel and am slated to finish the draft by the end of October. All it will take is 1.5k a day, which is realistic for me now. Last year, I could hardly write 500.

My WIP series deals with a (fairly complicated) afterlife system. I want to know what your beliefs are. : what do you think happens after we die?

Where does your book take place, ? In the real world? In a fantasy world? Another planet? Mine takes place in a fantasy world connected to the real world, but in my current , there are no humans, just mentions of the "foreign land of Terra."

- I keep hearing that an author needs to brand themselves. Do you have a brand? If so, what would you summarize it as being? What advice do you give to authors who need to build a brand?

What's the longest chapter in a W.I.P you have ever written? I'm over 6k in chapter ten and may have to chop it in half.

Today is Friday the 13th and a full moon! πŸŒ• , , does you book feature any luck/fate? Any superstitious characters? Are there any truths to their fears? People in my world are scared of mirrors and will cover them when they sleep.

Started a short story that is going to end up a novel, I hope. Decided I would attempt to draw the map I was picturing in my head but I'm a shitty artist. Have you ever tried drawing a map? How'd it go for you?

Anyone have a completed manuscript that's been revised several times and is ready for the world, then you think to yourself, you know what this needs? A completely different Chapter One.

, what is your MC's bad habit/trait? Do they drink/do drugs? Are they lecherous? Greedy? Reckless? My MC thinks she's a genius who can never make a bad decision... and yet she gets into SO many bad situations.

Oh, my God, voice-to-text has me in stitches. Came across this gem while editing: _______________ He looked almost afraid to bring it up. β€œThe diarrhea arrived from the coast.” β€œWell, let's have it." He held out his hand. [Should read "diary"]
