I gave one of my beta readers my manuscript yesterday... They returned it to me today... They said they couldn’t put it down and stayed up till after midnight to finish it! My emotions are really close to the surface right now.

How many rewrites did you do for your first chapter? I’m on number 4 and I feel like I have a dozen left in me... out of all the chapters, it’s the one I must get (perfect) right.
