Today is the deadline for me to submit this story, but my brain will not cooperate with last-minute edits or even writing a proper submission email. ?

I've been really bad about my writing this year - bad as in no discipline. So to continue in that vein, I'm procrastinating till the new year on making new and goals. I'll just blame it all on 2020, right?

When baby is napping, I want to do all the writing. Trouble is, this time is so fleeting that my brain just fizzles to a halt and ceases to concentrate when it gets a break from the constant High Alert for Faceplanting, Etc. Wish I was . Sigh.

Today is not a good writing-for-publication day. The longer I rest the Steampunk novel to pick up after NaNo, the more I doubt it, the more I think it will never be good enough. Rewriting is easy because I can get lost in the other story, but the SP novel remains.

Don't mind me. Just tearing apart my room looking for the second draft of one of the most lyrical poems I've written in a decade. The fact that I know its on scratch paper isn't helping.

So I avoid the project more and more, begging for excuses not to pull up the dog and log another thousand words.
