In better news I did the main part of my budget pier build over the bank holiday weekend. Next I'm going to paint it, add a gabion cage and a pier adapter. And guess what...I did it all myself! :)

Went on a little journey with my telescope and mobile phone last night. Magical to see the rings of Saturn with your own eyes. My phone doesn't do it justice.

Morning! Today's is the heart nebula. This lies around 7500 light years away from us. It glows red due to the radiation emitted from the cluster of stars at the centre.

Morning all, today's is the heart nebula. The red glow is from hydrogen gas being irradiated by the star cluster at the centre. Taken with my 72edf deluxe and hypercam 183c Pro
