What a great end of an excellent meeting by receiving the MND Clinical Poster prize for optimizing the use of the ALSFRS-R! The time may have come to say goodbye to the total score and make better use of its domain information in clinical trials.

Ugly. The list of failed therapies trialed for ALS/MMD (with 2 minor exceptions). We clearly need better understanding of disease biology and better pre-clinical models.

Interesting presentation from the Perron Institute in Perth looking at improving percentage of people with MND eligible for clinical trials. Geography a big issue in Western Australia 🇦🇺 but also recommendations about good respiratory monitoring. 👍🏼
