I just want to make my parents proud. All year I focused on what was important - ensuring a university offer. Then to focus on my A*s/As. Now I’m left with an offer and no grades, and supporting parents with nothing to give back to them

Tomorrow we take our middle son to join his new colleagues -very proud, and quite a bit relieved-the results algorithm nearly scuppered us - but thankfully got there in the end-especially thinking of all new University students & families at this time

Our grades were meant to be what we “would most likely achieve if the exams go ahead”. Not our “current progress”. With another 4 months solely focused on content (no interviews, aptitude tests), we would have improved all of our grades.

students have been disadvantaged, the government needs to make amends... teacher assessments not centre assessments. make it right, stop the unfairness on grades! you have a lot to answer for! Abhorrent!
