The soundtrack to working at home today: The Margaret Rutherford Miss Marple films. These films are gems though Joan Hickson is definitive to me (also another great soundtrack), this CD is great!

MURDER AT THE VICARAGE: Joan Hickson (the preeminent Miss Marple) stars in her 1st adventure. You'd be forgiven if keeping all of the townpeople straight is a challenge - the screenplay doesn't introduce them clearly. Still, the crux of the mystery is preserved.

13 AT DINNER: A star-studded Poirot outing with Peter Ustinov, Bill Nighy, and David Suchet (not as Poirot!). There is too much Hollywood fluff, but the solution to the mystery is one of Christie’s best. Faye Dunaway steals the show and is not to be missed.
