The AFL has updated the AFLW draft order. Richmond has been handed pick 1. Collingwood pick 2. St Kilda has pick 5. That is stunning.

Given how amazing, incredible and breathtaking the is then I thought you would have at least 10 names from the Geelong women first picked from both teams.

Semi-joking with the other week about this, but... St Kilda haven't announced a big name signing yet. Their coach is Peta Searle. There's a big name who has played under Peta before who has yet to re-sign with her current club. Daisy Pearce to the Saints? 🤫

It is important to consider that an upgraded Henson Park ( announcement)/other venue (Drummoyne Oval?) would be pivotal as an match venue alongside the Moore Park training base for any team!

Only good thing about Janz leaving is that means West Coast can’t take any more of our players, they have spent the last fortnight screeching around our club like seagulls waiting for us to drop a damn chip 😡

surely the afl has to admit they have absolutely stuffed the aflw, Lions have been absolutely pillaged. Rumours are Kate Mac and Nat Exon are headed to St Kilda, Nat Exon was arguably the lions best, Kate's adds so much pace and a great role model as are all the players

I’ve moved states, from good job to good job so I’m more than happy for all of the women to pursue their (all too brief) careers. I’m just sad that the team that had such a great 2019 season will not be playing together in 2020. ⚓️💜
