Can someone explain to me why Jason Kenney is passing up on federal infrastructure money that's been offered up by the Federal Liberals? AB lost the most jobs in the country in July. Kenney promised us JOBS, all he has done since he was elected is kill them.

I’m here at beautiful St. Teresa of Calcutta School in my riding. Minister has just announced her curriculum advisory panel. Where are the voices of teachers? There’s not a single current K-12 teacher on the panel. Teachers are the experts.

If had been a member of the KKK in 2005 and still held the same views but promised not to act on them, would conservatives come to his defence? It speaks volumes that conservatives think it’s still acceptable to be a homophobe.

The UCP is perhaps the most hypocritical party to have existed in this province. They complained the NDP didn’t consult with teachers adequately when developing a desperately needed curriculum update. Now they consult literally 0 teachers doing the same.

You see , this is an actual scandal. The misinterpretation of Section 9 of the COIA by Mario Dion is not a scandal, it's an error. The RCMP investigating the UCP leadership election of the Alberta Premier is an actual scandal.

I’m definitely disappointed, and I know that thousands of folks who were involved in the drafting of this new curriculum are too. We owe our kids modern, evidence-based curriculum, and this panel just adds unnecessary layers and further delay.

The cap on insurance hikes expires August 31, so instead of my insurance going up a maximum 5% ($175) it’s going up about 30% ($900). Please tell me how the cares about average Albertans?

Enough with your gaslighting, sir. For those still interested in facts in this post-truth era, the thread that follows states the facts on community consultation and social/economic evaluation for SCS's in Alberta.

Pretty low grade stuff for the Minister of Education to accuse teachers of focusing on themselves and not students. I can confidently say that is not the experience I’ve had with teachers, but maybe knows something we all don’t.

We always want Albertans to be involved in political process, but most Albertans can’t afford the luxury of taking time off in the first months of a new job, let alone travel across the country to campaign for federal counterparts, particularly on the new min wage.
