Just realized the mystery succulent I was given by Pascoe has a plant tag/name sticker on its pot. If what the tag says is true then this is a desmetiana 'Blue Boy' .............. um, excuse me WHAT?!

A tolerant I planted several years ago is still flourishing, with a thick garland of elegans and aloifolia ‘Purpurea’ centrepiece. Window boxes are such micro-climates, as this has seen some cold over the years. ❄️

I was so busy looking that I didn't make much on site, but I did start a series of pods (covered with ) and made a (-esque) form by working wire in multiple crossing spirals instead of my usual single-wire technique, so learning from nature.
