This is Chinook Mall in Calgary right now. I’m at work because you wouldn’t lockdown the province. Expect COVID cases to go up

I want to tell you a story... (Thread) I’m a paramedic in . I rely heavily on caffeine. We all have our vices. Tonight I stopped in to pick up some caffeine at a convenience store. At the till, there were two cashiers, and there’s a guy with his kid at one. /1

My friends, it is a tough time in Alberta. I firmly believe, however, that brighter days are ahead. We will get through these challenging times. Have a great weekend.

Last night, received a call of a suicidal person threatening to jump from a bridge. HAWCS and D1 members responded locating the person and successfully de-escalated things, negotiating them to safety. So proud of our service in making a difference!

Less than an hour ago I put out the call for 3 laptops/chromebooks to help some students for Monday. I now have all I need and a few more to donate to other kids, plus kind offers of cash if we need to buy more. Nobody wanted $ or recognition. They just wanted to help.

This has to be the worst roll out I have ever seen. My business account is now locked & I am in the process of moving my business to another bank. The level of incompetence at Connect First is unbelievable!

More layoffs in downtown Calgary today. More devasting news for Alberta families who are already dealing with so much. We must build a plan for Alberta's future economy. The failed, outdated policies of the Government haven't worked.
