The song “Yah” by Kendrick Lamar seems as if he has so many things going on in his head, but he’s trying to stay on track. He doesn’t want to get distracted by any other people that are keeping him from doing what he wants and needs.

When Kendrick said "Keep the family close, get money", it described my whole summer vacation. The song is very humble, & mello.

The second song ,”Yah” is explaining the value of and worth of Carl. He isn’t a typical person that you will run across everyday.

Yah- I feel as if Lamar is discouraged in this piece about how people love to stereotype African Americans. I love how he uses, “Black is a color, it not facts no more” to express that people should stop steotyping African Americans by the way they look.
